Dessert Recipes

Carmel Apple Sundae

*Serves 6
-For caramelized apples: 3 Granny Smith apples, peeled & cored, each cut into 12 wedges

    Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh Lemon juice
  • 3 oz. (6 tablespoons) unsalted butter
  • 2 1/4 Cups Sugar
  • Ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

    Directions

  • Whipped cream
  • Lindys Vanilla Gelato
  • Pecan-Oat crumbles, (any pre-packaged Store or Name Brand will do)

    Step1

  • - Make the Apples: Toss apples w/ lemon juice in a large bowl & let stand
  • - Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sugar and ground cinnamon, and stir until sugar dissolves & mixture is dark amber, about 15 minutes

    Step2

  • - Stir in apples, their juices, and the salt. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally until apples are softened, about 10 minutes.
  • - Sit in the cream. Transfer apple mixture to a bowl.
  • - Let the apple mixture cool, stirring occasionally and sauce has thickened about 20 minutes. Use immediately (or refrigerate overnight)

    Assembly

  • For each serving, place 2 caramelized apple wedges in a sundae glass.
  • Top with a scoop of Vanilla Gelato (1/2 cup of self-serve cup), 2 caramelized apple wedges & some pecan-oat crumble.
  • Repeat gelato, apple and crumble layers.
  • Top with whipped cream & enjoy!

Sorbet/Gelato - Fresh Berries

*Serves 6
-For caramelized apples: 3 Granny Smith apples, peeled & cored, each cut into 12 wedges

    Ingredients

  • For Berry Topping
  • 1 oz. Raspberries, Strawberry,
  • 1/2 Lemon
  • Sugar

    Directions

  • Whipped cream
  • Lindys Vanilla Gelato
  • Strawberry Sorbet

    Step1

  • - In a large bowl, toss berry mixture with lemon juice sugar. Let stand about 15 minutes.

    Step2

  • - For each serving, place 1 scoop of Strawberry Sorbet and one scoop of Vanilla gelato into an ice cream dish.
  • - Alongside of the gelato, add one scoop of your berry mixture reserving their juices. Once all servings have been assembled, pour reserved fruit juice on top and serve with biscotti.

    Assembly

  • Biscotti
  • Vanilla Gelato
  • Strawberry Sorbet

Drink Recipes

Presecco Delight

*Serves 4
-For caramelized apples: 3 Granny Smith apples, peeled & cored, each cut into 12 wedges

1) 1 - bottle of pressco

2) 1- scoop of Lindys Raspberry -Lemon Sorbet (or Lemon sorbet)

(Sorbet can also be substituted for any flavor of Lindys Italian Ice)

    To Assemble

  • 1) For each, scoop 1 small scoop of Lindys Raspberry-Lemon sorbet into a fluted glass,
  • 2) Top each glass with presecco to the rim
  • 3) Garnish with a few fresh Raspberries and serve.

* For Non- Alcoholic, replace Presecco for Ginger-Ale.
